In a world that celebrates doing, many of us have forgotten how to truly rest.
Join Krista Oakes and sound therapist Cat Laiacone for a deeply nourishing experience designed to help you slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.
We'll begin with gentle, accessible movement to ease the body and quiet the mind. Participants are welcome to practice on a yoga mat, in a chair, or a combination of both, making this experience accessible to a wide range of abilities and comfort levels.
Throughout the practice, Cat will accompany the experience with the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and chimes. As you move, breathe, and settle into stillness, the sounds create a calming backdrop that supports relaxation and presence.
The afternoon will culminate in an extended Yoga Nidra practice, often described as "yogic sleep." This powerful form of guided meditation invites the body into deep rest while the mind remains gently aware. During this portion of the experience, Cat's therapeutic soundscape will help create an atmosphere of ease, restoration, and renewal.
Whether you are feeling physically tense, mentally busy, or simply in need of a pause from the demands of daily life, this experience offers an opportunity to slow down, fill your own cup, and reconnect with what matters most.
No prior yoga, meditation, or sound healing experience is necessary.
Come as you are. Leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more rested than when you arrived.
